Job Description

Robert Half is currently recruiting for a well-respected small non-profit in Naples that is currently looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee their accounting and finance operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the budget process and provide insightful financial analysis to leadership.
  • Lead accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
  • Collaborate with teams to maintain and improve internal controls and operational efficiencies.
  • Support fundraising efforts with reporting and donor compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in managerial roles.
  • Prior experience in non-profit accounting is a strong plus.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or other ERP systems).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
