Job Description Conduct on-site clinical evaluations for new and existing customers to demonstrate the use of products and services, enhancing the frequency and quality of IGS (Image Guided Surgery) product usage. Provide on-site consulting, guidance, and assistance to physicians and operating room personnel, evaluating options and troubleshooting during surgeries to optimize efficiency and product utilization. Lead installations and establish system functionality at new and existing customer sites. Educate and train physicians and hospital staff—including operating staff, Radiology, Central Sterile Processing, Biomedical, and IT personnel—on the use of surgical products and services. Use engineering expertise to contribute to quality improvement by recommending product modifications. Act as the primary customer liaison, maintaining regular site visits and contact, assessing satisfaction and usage, and working to increase revenue through service contracts, spare/wear parts, and upgrades. Collaborate with the Account Manager to evaluate customer opportunities and develop sales projects. Resolve product issues through detailed analysis and engineering expertise. Stay informed about new developments in Brainlab and competitive products through ongoing training and research. Attend annual surgical continuing education and maintain product certifications. Promote surgical products and services at trade shows. Maximize customer satisfaction and perform other duties as required. Travel 50% or more. Qualifications B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanical Engineering, Bioengineering, Clinical Engineering, Nursing, or equivalent experience. 1-3 years of experience in a technical support role in healthcare preferred. 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred. Knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and medical terminology preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, with a proven ability to make independent decisions.
