Department of Biomedical Engineering and Science Florida Institute of Technology
The Department of Biomedical Engineering and Science at the Florida Institute of Technology invites applications for a Visiting Instructor position, beginning in August 2025. This is a one-year, full-time, 9-month, non-tenure-track appointment.
We are seeking a teaching-focused individual to provide in-person instruction to students in the Biomedical Engineering (BME) programone of two programs within the department. The BME program offers a rigorous foundation in engineering principles applied to the medical and biological sciences, preparing students for careers in healthcare innovation, biotechnology, and medical device development.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience or strong potential in biomedical engineering education, a passion for student learning, and the ability to contribute to curriculum development.
